I am glad that Trump attended the March for Life instead of the Planned Parenthood gala like Obama did, and I'm glad that he gave a speech proclaiming that "Every child is a precious and sacred gift from God." I just have one small question: If "every child is a precious and sacred gift from God," and if "we must protect, cherish, and defend the dignity and the sanctity of every human life," and if "when we see the image of a baby in the womb, we glimpse the majesty of God's creation," and if, "as the Bible tells us, each person is wonderfully made," and if, "together, we are the voice for the voiceless," and if "every life brings love into this world," and if "every child brings joy to a family," and if "every person is worth protecting," and if "unborn children have never had a stronger defender in the White House," and if, "above all, we know that every human soul is divine and every human life, born and unborn, is made in the holy image of Almighty God," Why exactly has Trump only "called on Congress ... to defend the dignity of life and to pass legislation prohibiting late-term abortion of children who can feel pain in their mother's womb (unless they were conceived in rape or incest)"? Why not ask Congress to defend the dignity of EVERY life and to pass legislation prohibiting ALL abortion? Why do so little when the cause is so great?

Why have three branches of government and expect submission to the constitution when everyone is now expected to defer to the SC oligarchy.

Trump knew that if he expressed that view it would not have as much general support. You need to open the door a little stick your foot in so it can't be slammed shut and gradually increase the opening of the door so that we are back to where we were. Life begins at conception and it is illegal to kill unborn children.

Live baby dismemberment did not begin all at once and can;t end all at once. He can only lead so far as people will follow.

Because he is smart enough to know that it needs to be done in baby steps. Otherwise, nothing will move forward for pro-life issues. The opposition is hell bent on making sure of that. They also have a lot more money to forward their agenda than do the people on the side of life. Trump has done more for the unborn than any other President ever. He’s not done yet either
