I am glad that Trump attended the March for Life instead of the Planned Parenthood gala like Obama did, and I'm glad that he gave a speech proclaiming that "Every child is a precious and sacred gift from God." I just have one small question:
If "every child is a precious and sacred gift from God,"
and if "we must protect, cherish, and defend the dignity and the sanctity of every human life,"
and if "when we see the image of a baby in the womb, we glimpse the majesty of God's creation,"
and if, "as the Bible tells us, each person is wonderfully made,"
and if, "together, we are the voice for the voiceless,"
and if "every life brings love into this world,"
and if "every child brings joy to a family,"
and if "every person is worth protecting,"
and if "unborn children have never had a stronger defender in the White House,"
and if, "above all, we know that every human soul is divine and every human life, born and unborn, is made in the holy image of Almighty God,"
Why exactly has Trump only "called on Congress ... to defend the dignity of life and to pass legislation prohibiting late-term abortion of children who can feel pain in their mother's womb (unless they were conceived in rape or incest)"? Why not ask Congress to defend the dignity of EVERY life and to pass legislation prohibiting ALL abortion? Why do so little when the cause is so great?
